Manufacturing Day, happening October 7, 2016, is a nationwide celebration of modern manufacturing, hosting events around the country, and is your chance to highlight the economic significance of marine manufacturing in the U.S. These events seek to promote individual manufacturers and the manufacturing industry as a whole on both local and national levels. Event registration is open!
Although Manufacturing Day officially occurs on the first Friday in October, any day can be a Manufacturing Day. Producers and NMMA encourage you to plan your event on the date that works best. All events should be registered on www.mfgday.com, regardless of the day they are scheduled, in order to take advantage of the variety of free event planning and execution resources provided.
Manufacturing Day is a vital tool for educating the public on manufacturing’s economic importance in the United States, highlighting the many jobs it creates throughout the nation. In addition, it is a recruitment tool for employing talented Americans in this important industry.
