Last Call to Help Our Industry Highlight our Impact on Jobs and the Economy
The Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics has asked our industry to provide updates to their Standards of Occupational Classification (SOC)—a published database that covers all American occupations. This is an important metric that helps industries highlight their economic impact, but one which we have historically been underrepresented.
NMMA and our partners have been working on the industry’s submission, having fielded surveys from numerous companies, associations and organizations. Before we make the submission final, we are asking a “last call” for any outstanding data points.
