NMMA's 2015 Statistical Abstract: Cruiser, Watersport, and Offshore Fishing Boat and Trailer Report Now Available

The fifth section report of NMMA's 2015 U.S. Recreational Boating Statistical Abstract, titled Cruiser, Watersport and Offshore Fishing Boat and Trailer Sales Trends 2004–2015, is now available for download by NMMA members here.

This year, the Statistical Abstract, which contains thousands of data points and insights on the boating industry, features a new format and schedule with each section released individually as the statistics are available.

Highlights from NMMA’s Cruiser, Watersport, and Offshore Fishing Boat and Trailer Sales Trends 2004–2015 report include:

  • Watersport boat sales increased for the fourth consecutive year in 2015 with unit sales up 2.7 percent.
  • Cruiser unit sales were down 4 percent in 2015, primarily reflecting a lag in sterndrive cruiser sales.

When each section is released, reports can be downloaded here. Members must be logged in to access the report. NMMA members receive unlimited complimentary access to the digital versions of each section as they’re available in addition to the full compilation report, which will be released in August. Print editions of the full report are available for $200 for NMMA members and can be pre-ordered today.
