NMMA’s Sara Anghel Appointed to ABYC Board of Directors
Sara Anghel from NMMA’s Toronto, Canada office, has been appointed to the American Boat Yacht Council Board of Directors effective January 2016. Anghel’s ongoing efforts and expertise working with Transport Canada’s Office of Boating Safety as well as with NMMA members in the US provide valuable experience she will bring to her role on the Board.
ABYC works to maximize customer satisfaction with the boating experience through safety standards for products, services and repair. The ABYC’s role is to be the essential source of technical information for the international marine industry. It develops product safety standards, credentialing, education, training and other tools to equip members to be successful. Everything ABYC does aims to support their members to achieve the goal of making boating safer.
