Progressive Boat School Feature Wins NACS WOW Award
The Progressive® Insurance Boat School feature, which debuted at boat shows across the country this past season, has been selected as the winner of the National Association of Consumer Shows’ (NACS) WOW Award. The WOW Award is given out for something that significantly enhanced the success of a show. Award winners were announced Thursday, June 11 at the NACS Conference in Orlando, Fl.
The Progressive® Insurance Boat School features top-notch mariners from the Annapolis School of Seamanship who lead a variety of interactive “courses” including general boating safety seminars, proper docking procedures, a boating simulator experience and more.
In fall of 2014 and winter 2015, the Progressive® Boat School exhibit appeared in Tampa, Nashville, Chicago, New York, Baltimore, Atlantic City, New England, St. Louis and at the Northwest Sportshow. In 2016 Progressive® is looking to expand the Boat School program with an additional set which will allow for the Boat School feature to appear at all winter shows with the exception of San Francisco, Atlanta and Louisville.
