Total Boat Registrations Now Available from 2017 NMMA Statistical Abstract
The final section of NMMA's 2017 U.S. Recreational Boating Statistical Abstract, Total Boat Registrations, is now available on NMMA.org. Total U.S. boat registrations edged up slightly (0.7%) in 2017 to 11,953,187. The Great Lakes region accounted for 27.3% of all state boat registrations in 2017, followed by the Inland region (18.4%) and the South Atlantic region (18%).
Members receive unlimited complimentary access to the digital versions of the Abstract and the reports are also available for purchase by non-NMMA members, which can be found here; the Total Boat Registrations Report is $2,299 for non-members. The complete Abstract is expected to be released later this month.
