NMMA’s Recreational Boating Industry 2017 Q1 Data Dashboard is now available, featuring detailed insights on boat market statistics and economic indicators including trending on home prices to boat sales, wholesale forecasting, small business sentiment, economic health of major export partners, and much more. Highlights of the 2017 Q1 Data Dashboard include:

• Traditional powerboat retail unit sales were up 5.9 percent for the twelve months through February 2017.
• Retail sales of nearly all traditional powerboat categories are growing on an annual basis.
• Consumer confidence continues its upward trend at 120.3 in April.
• Retail gas prices averaged $2.33 the week ending May 1, picking up slightly after dropping to record lows in 2015.
