October New Powerboat Registrations Report Available
NMMA’s New Powerboat Registrations Report has been updated with October data, and most segments are up year over year (YOY). Advance data show new powerboat registrations saw an increase of 6.4% year over year (YOY) for the 12 months through October. PWC, pontoon and saltwater fishing boat segments continue to be high-volume growth leaders: up 7.1%, 9.7% and 7.8% on a rolling 12 month basis (R12M), respectively. Boats 27’ + saw an increase of 11.4% on a R12M YOY basis; outboard boats were up 6.5%; and inboard boats were up 12.4%. Sterndrive boats however, continue to lag, down 1.5%.
