December MSR: Traditional powerboat shipments up 8.8 Percent
Total powerboat wholesale shipments were up 8.8% in 2017, based on NMMA's control group of manufacturers representing 77% of the powerboat market.
This primarily reflects a 9% increase in shipments of aluminum outboard boats and a 7% increase in shipments of personal watercraft. Wholesale shipments of fiberglass sterndrive boats rebounded in 2017, up 3% from 2016.
