President and all 50 Governors Proclaim June Great Outdoors Month!
For the seventh straight year, the President and all 50 governors have proclaimed June Great Outdoors Month®! These proclamations celebrate the economic, social and healthful benefits of healthy, active outdoor fun on individual states and the country as a whole. They recognize the efforts of public and private partners in connecting Americans with their great outdoors through Great Outdoors Month® events and more. And they highlight recreation opportunities available in state parks, as well as federal lands and waters.
