Boat Sales Trends Sections of NMMA Statistical Abstract Released, Retail Unit Sales Up in 2016

The fifth and sixth sections of NMMA's 2016 U.S. Recreational Boating Statistical Abstract are now available on NMMA.orgNMMA’s Powerboat Sales Trends, and NMMA’s Cruiser, Water Sport, and Saltwater Fishing Boat Sales Trends. Data shows retail unit sales of outboard, inboard, and sterndrive boats were up six percent in 2016 and corresponding dollars were up eight percent. Saltwater fishing boat unit sales were up seven percent in 2016 and drag and pull watersport boats, like inboard ski/wakeboard boats and pontoon boats, were up five percent in 2016. NMMA is releasing each section of the Statistical Abstract as statistics become available, making this critical industry data much more timely and valuable. Below is the release schedule for the remaining sections in the 2016 Statistical Abstract:
