The NMMA today announced boat dealer recipients of the 2019 Marine Industry Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Awards. The 2019 CSI Awards honor 1,526 boat dealers for customer satisfaction excellence in sales and 1,159 for excellence in continued service.
For the fourth consecutive year, NMMA is using dealer satisfaction data collected through the Marine Industry CSI program to recognize boat dealers who actively measure customer satisfaction and pursue continuous improvements to better serve their customers.
The complete list of boat dealers honored with 2019 CSI Awards for their efforts to increase customer satisfaction levels in the boating industry are listed at www.boatsatisfaction.com.
The 2019 CSI Award dealer recipients achieved an independently measured standard of excellence of 90 percent or higher in customer satisfaction over the past program year. Data is collected as part of a survey of customers purchasing a new boat or engine between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019. For this reporting period, the program surveyed more than 199,000 customers.
“Boat dealers are at the leading edge of delivering boaters an extraordinary experience that creates lifelong boat ownership and participation,” said Robert Newsome, senior vice president of operations for NMMA. “The 2019 boat dealer CSI Award honorees have demonstrated that exceptional sales and service enhances overall customer satisfaction and upholds the integrity of the U.S. recreational boating industry.”
NMMA’s CSI Awards also honor boat and engine manufacturers; 2019 boat and engine manufacturer recipients were announced at the Progressive Insurance Miami International Boat Show in February.
