Progressive® Insurance Saltwater Fishing Expo Opens Today, Kick Starts Northeast’s Fishing Season
The 2019 Progressive® Insurance Saltwater Fishing Expo, the northeast’s premier saltwater fishing event, returns to the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center in Edison, opening today and running through Sunday. This year’s show will feature more than 230 exhibitors selling the newest saltwater fishing products, from new boats and kayaks, to thousands of accessories including fishing rods, reels and lures.
The Saltwater Fishing Expo will also feature free daily seminars lead by nationally-recognized experts, and include appearances from National Geographic’s hit reality-television show Wicked Tuna¸ Captains Paul Hebert and Dave Carraro headlining the seminar series. Additional highlights include the fishing simulator, the Great White Shark challenge, and the Casting Pond, where experts will be on-hand to teach casting techniques.
