Tom Marhevko Re-Appointed as Chair of ISO’s Technical Committee 188-Small Crafts
Tom Marhevko, former Senior Vice President of Engineering Standards for the NMMA, has been re-appointed Chairman of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO)/Technical Committee (TC) 188 - Small Craft from 2018-2020. ISO-TC 188 oversees the standardization of equipment and construction details of recreational boats and other small craft using similar equipment, up to 24 meters (79 feet) in length.
Marhevko retired from the NMMA in 2017 and has been Chair of the ISO/TC 188 Committee for six years.
