ICOMIA 2018:1 Small Craft Standards Bulletin Now Available, Free to NMMA Members
ICOMIA’s Small Craft Standards Bulletin, now available at no charge to NMMA members,provides industry stakeholders early notification on changes to existing standards and modifications to production methods, as developed and maintained by the International Organization for Standards (ISO) Technical Committee for Small Craft Standards.
Edition 2018:1 of the Bulletin provides an update of standards following a week of ISO TC 188 & SC 2 Working Group meetings, which took place during BOOT held in Dusseldorf, Germany January 20-28, 2018.
The ICOMIA Small Craft Standards Bulletin clearly defines the current stage of the standard depending on whether it is in: Committee, Enquiry, Approval, or Publication. On completion, standards that support the Recreational Craft Directive (RCD) requirements are referenced in the Official Journal of the EU (OJEU).
