CPI increased 2.2 percent for year ending September 2017
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, from September 2016 to September 2017, the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) rose 2.2 percent. The 12-month change has been accelerating since June, when it was 1.6 percent.
