NMMA Encourages Sharing Of Towed Water Sports “Captain’s Etiquette”
The Water Sports Industry Association (WSIA) produced a new video on driver’s courtesy in an effort to protect water sports for generations to come. "It’s no secret that towed sports like wakesurfing are more popular than ever," noted Kevin Michael, WSIA’s executive director. "Even if they’re not breaking laws, captains still manage to upset lakefront homeowners with loud music and driving too close to docks and shorelines. Compromise is the key to peaceful resolution of these waterway issues.” NMMA is encouraging the industry the share the video on social media channels, web sites, and in other marketing efforts to help get the word out to boaters.
