Suzi DuRant, Executive Director of the South Carolina Chapter of the National Marine Manufacturers Association, recently wrote an op-ed on ethanol and the RFS published by the Greenville News. Suzi noted the need for low ethanol fuel blends as well as E0 in the state of South Carolina, nodding also to the presidential candidates and their own stances on the RFS following the primary elections in the state. Suzi says, "Reforming the RFS — something that will require an act of Congress and a principled leader in the Oval Office — is the only way to ensure an adequate future supply of E0 for South Carolina’s boaters."
