The Progressive Insurance Miami International Boat Show Opens Today
The 2016 Progressive® Insurance Miami International Boat Show® opens its doors today at its new home at the Miami Marine Stadium Park & Basin on Virginia Key. In its 75th year, the Miami Boat Show, including Strictly Sail at Miamarina at Bayside, features more than 1,200 new boats, including more than 400 boats in-water at a temporary marina featuring new 100% EPA-compliant and eco-friendly docks.
The show’s comprehensive transportation plan includes new park-and-ride options with dozens of pick-up and drop-off points in downtown Miami, Brickell and Coconut Grove for exhibitors and attendees. More than 100,000 people are expected to attend the five-day show which runs through Monday.
