Senator Toomey Calls for an End to the Corn Ethanol Mandate on Senate Floor

This week, during deliberations over the Senate Energy Bill, Senator Patrick Toomey (PA) spoke passionately in favor of his bi-partisan amendment that would repeal the Corn Ethanol Mandate and significantly reform the Renewable Fuel Standard. During his argument, the Senator referenced ethanol’s proven damage to engines, including marine engines.
