Despite Economic Climate, Exhibitors Jump Onboard To Fill Show Floor
Chicago, IL
In an effort to accommodate the growing number of boats confirmed by participating exhibitors at this year’s 56th annual Kansas City Boat & Sportshow, the National Marine Manufacturers Association has announced a 55 percent increase in show floor space at H. Roe Bartle Hall for the 2010 show, featuring twice as many boats than in year’s past.
“In its 56th year, the Kansas City Boat & Sportshow offers area-wide boat dealers the opportunity to work directly with interested customers and showcase special show discounts and pricing to entice buyers, generating approximately 30-50 percent of their annual revenues.” said Mark Adams, show manager. “We’re excited that we will be offering attendees the quality and quantity of boats they’ve come to expect from this show.”
While the boating business has certainly slowed down as a result of the economy, show visitors generally visit boat shows with the intent to purchase onsite or in the near future. The recent need to increase show space is a positive indicator of the boating industry’s commitment to stimulate sales and provide the best available options to potential customers visiting this year’s Kansas City Boat & Sportshow.
In addition to the latest boats, RV’s and accessories, visitors to the 2010 Kansas City Boat & Sportshow can find a variety of special features, including a newly added Affordability Pavilion, Pirates of Colonial America exhibit, a trout pond where kids fish for FREE, and a seminar lineup packed with today’s top hunting and fishing personalities.
