Cobalt's survey program, implemented in 1975, has allowed us to measure our product performance as well as our dealer performance. In 1995, utilizing the survey information, Cobalt developed a Customer Satisfaction Index for every Cobalt model as well as every Cobalt dealership. Surveys are used as a source of information for improving processes as well as a measurement of both product and services provided by our dealer organization. In addition, surveys create a profile of who the customer is and what their expectations and/or needs are. These indexes are monitored closely by our dealerships in addition to Cobalt and are an important aspect of Cobalt's product and dealer organization's enhancements.

The NMMA CSI Program has provided us with the tools necessary to measure and improve our organization in several areas.
Product Improvement - The data from the surveys gives us the ability to identify our strong points and to pinpoint where we need improvement. The data also aids in developing our future product line. Sales Experience- We have seen an improvement in boat sales, follow-up after the sale and an increase in the number of sea-trials. Service- Based on the survey results we can see an increase in dealership attention to detail, cleanliness of service department and better new boat delivery scores. Loyalty- Improvements do many great things but the greatest one of all is the increase in customer loyalty!
